DOPPER WIELE
Dopper Wiele was born in South Africa on 19th March 2005. He is described, by Kobus Buys of Dopper Boerboel, probably the most health-conscious kennel in South Africa, as "definitely my pick of litter male."
Dopper say "We believe that Wiele's development and appearance are of such quality that he could easily become one of the finest males bred in 2005."
I met Wiele at the quarantine kennel, on the day he arrived in England, in February 2006. I was stunned by the unmistakable quality of the dog. He possesses a superb boerboel head, an outstanding bone structure and an excellent musculature. He also boasts a relaxed and easy-going, but confident, temperament. I have no hesitation in saying that in terms of head construction, overall conformation, movement and temperament, he is the most complete boerboel I have seen in the UK.
At the 2007 UK SABT Appraisal, he was top male and overall top dog.
